Tap is taught at Dancetra from Beginner Tap through to Intermediate Tap. The classes focus on teaching students technique, co-ordination, rhythm and musicality, and performance. Routines are set to classic tap music and current popular music.

Students prepare for in-studio exams during the first half of the year, and are continuously challenged to advance their repertoire and ability.

The second half of the year focuses on preparing for the end of year concert, giving tap students a chance to perform on stage for their friends and family, and experience the thrill of everything that goes with performing on stage.
