Sue Johnstone trained in South Africa under Marjorie Sturman at the Art, Ballet, and Music School completing her Advanced and Solo Seal accreditation, and becoming an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dancing (A.R.A.D.) Sue founded and was the principal of the Susan Johnstone School Of Dancing in Johannesburg in 1981, with two studios. Sue has 30 years experience in teaching dance and has been owner and principal teacher of her dance schools in South Africa, Singapore and Australia. Sue has also held a dance teaching position at Dynamite Dance Studios in Sydney, working with artistic director David Atkins of ‘Hot Shoe Shuffle’ fame  – he also choreographed the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. After moving to Brisbane in 2006 Susan Johnstone School of Dancing opened as Dancetra in Chelmer and Sherwood and most recently at St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School in Corinda.
